Barloworld to sell car sales business

Barloworld is selling its car sales business to NMI Durban South Motors for almost R1bn, it said on Thursday. The disposal is part of Barloworld’s strategy to transform itself in the next two to five years by selling its logistics business and scaling down fleet operations so it can focus on its core businesses of Caterpillar equipment and food procurement.
