Festive fare for kids on the stage

Tandi Buchan directs Pop-Up Tales at the Galloway Theatre, V&A Waterfront Theatre School, at 11.30am and 2pm today and tomorrow. The improvised storytelli­ng for children draws on the talents of profession­al actors who take their cue from the children who decide who, what and where the adventure will be.

For the annual Cape Town City Ballet Fairy Parade on December 24, children are invited to attend the 2pm performanc­e of The Nutcracker dressed up as their favourite fairy tale characters.
