Archery Tag fun for the whole family

- Theolin Tembo

THE CAPE Argus Sport Show is here and one of the exciting activities is the latest fun activity than can be played by any and everyone – Archery Tag. Archery Attack/Tag offers a unique and fun way for people of all ages to enjoy archery, and is played similar to dodgeball with bows and patented foam tipped arrows. Players get to navigate through an obstacle course and then get to unleash the arrows on competitors without facing serious injury.

The exciting, action-packed game offers the ultimate family-friendly experience that engages everyone. There is also the option for two teams to battle it out, consisting of five players each playing opposite one another, who are separated by a “safe zone” and get to face off. Archery Tag was started to introduce individuals to the sport of archery through a safe, fun, and unique archery experience.

Food trucks will also provide an array of options for everyone. Caffe Pronto will offer their special coffee, while EEZI Street Pizza will satisfy customers’ desire for quality pizza. The Sport Show will also offer food trucks by Hectic Biltong, Pitmasters, Durban Curry, and Met Eish. From tag rugby, cricket, golf, netball, paintball, water sports, BMX biking, obstacle courses and even drone racing, the Sport Show promises to be unending fun for all.

Stephan Jooste, the Sport Show organiser, said the event encapsulates the joy of sport, and promises an event that’s bigger and better than last year.
