Late judge’s kin putting women first

-

THE granddaughters of the late human rights lawyer and judge Essa Moosa hosted a special Women’s Day event at the President Hotel in Bantry Bay to honour both their grandparents.

The event, attended by 100 guests, aimed to uplift, pamper and inspire women throughout the day.

It included health talks and beauty tutorials, and explored the impact of fitness on one’s holistic being.

“There was not a seat left and people left feeling very inspired,” said granddaughter Fatima Wise.

Wise and her sister organised a similar event in 2015 but their grandmother died on the day. “Despite us not being able to attend, the event continued and was a great success. Everyone who attended left encouraged, with the knowledge that despite their busy lives, they matter.” – Staff Reporter
