Trump’s knock on effect
SADLY the whole world is in great political turmoil at the moment and then we also have all the natural disasters to go with it. Not forgetting President Donald Trump who is always in the forefront to make things worse than they really are.
Looks like there is no end in sight and no light at the end of the tunnel. We have the goings on in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, North Korea, South Korea, China and we can go on and on and the catalyst of it all is none other the President of the “United States” Donald Trump.
Part of what I wrote on February 2 this year, soon after his inauguration, was: “In a very sinister way he is the catalyst in bringing out the genuine greatness and goodness of the majority of the American people.”
So much so that now all the American people and also people all over the world are questioning their own morality, hence all the Weinstein-type cases coming to the fore at the moment.
Lets also hope that the rest of the world’s leaders will come to their senses and not follow Trump blindly because can you imagine what is going to happen if Trump is impeached in the near future, which looks very likely at the present moment. On a lighter note. If I look at President Trump my mind goes way back to when I was still a teenager sitting up late at night to early in the morning with my beloved late father, following the late Muhammad Ali on radio and then eventually on black-and-white TV.
I will never forget when Muhammad Ali stood on that podium with his handlers having to hold him back and he shouted for all the world to hear: “Ah shook up the world. Ah shook up the world.”
Muhammad Ali was great, he made boxing great and he made America great.
We can’t say the same about Donald Trump, who is doing exactly that at the moment, shaking up the whole world but for all the wrong reasons. MO NOOR JOSEPH Crawford
