University garden recognised

STELLENBOSCH University Botanical Garden has become the first botanical garden in South Africa to be internationally accredited by Botanic Gardens Conservation International which recognises achievements in plant conservation.

Only nine botanical gardens around the world have received this honour, with Stellenbosch University Botanical Garden being the second in Africa. – Staff Reporter
