Sing and dance at music boot camp

-

IF YOU’RE tired of watching TV and looking for something to amp up your holiday, then check out the Inspired Stages boot camp which will be coming to GrandWest Casino next week to inspire youth through performance.

The boot camp will allow youth aged between the ages of 13 and 21 to sign up and partake in the fully-sponsored twoday masterclass which aims to empower the next generation through dance, song and performance. The workshop will feature the likes of Rudi Smit and Kfm’s Carl Wastie among others, who will motivate youth and allow them to learn from the best industry professionals and stars how to become the best person they can be.

The jam-packed days will be filled with jazz cabaret, contemporary dance, African street-style dance, voice coaching and musical theatre. Participants can choose which classes to attend and learn from performers like Calvin Grandling, who plays Simba in the international

production.

“Every day has crucial life skills and coaching which starts the day, and each day they can choose the masterclass they want to participate in.

“There is an amazing line-up of special guests and mentors who will be sharing their expertise. It doesn’t get better than this,” said Planet Production spokesperson, Karen Burt.

Booking for the boot camp can be made by e-mailing Karen at karen@planetproductions.co.za. Participants will get confirmation forms and a R50 registration fee will get you in. There is limited space. – Staff Reporter
