Aquila acquires Inverdoorn reserve.

-

BIG FIVE safari tourism in the Western Cape is set to benefit from Aquila Private Game Reserve and Spa’s acquisition of Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve.

The agreement was concluded for an undisclosed amount.

Aquila, which is two hours away from Cape Town, has become popular with the Cape Town and international safari market over the past 20 years.

Searl Derman, the owner of the The Aquila Collections, said the reserves offered a Big Five safari and guest experience in wide-open spaces.

He said that Inverdoorn, which was founded in 1994 and less than two-and-a-half hours from Cape Town, or 25 minutes from Aquila, made for a truly memorable experience.

“Both gave reserves have a great variety of Big Five and wildlife which within the next month will be further reinforced with new genetics, numbers and species. By combining the sales and marketing offices, the group will be able to streamline the promotion of Big Five safari tourism in Cape Town and the Western Cape, while also enhancing local and international safari experiences,” said Derman.

Derman said both brands will continue with business as usual they begin their transition to synergise their hospitality products, conservation, job creation and social upliftment projects and ethics. – Staff Reporter
