Get your ducks in a row, Donald

- MO NOOR JOSEPH Crawford

A LOT of untruths and preposterous utterances can he attributed to Donald Trump, but to say that there is “large scale killing of farmers” in South Africa takes the cake. President Trump made the world aware of “fake news” but unfortunately he is the biggest spreader of “fake news”.

Can somebody please inform Trump that South Africa is a civilised country and that South Africans white, black, brown and all religious denominations get on well with one another, we don’t go about killing each other. We have crime and we have our domestic and political problems, as do all other countries, but we always endeavour to sort it out in a very democratic, civil and humane way, unlike what is happening in the US at the moment.

President Donald Trump should get his ducks in a row before making all sorts of ridiculous statements and accusations, causing harm and confusion all over the world.

All the president’s men are now pointing fingers at him and impeachment is in the offing. In situations like this he normally does his usual deflection trick and unfortunately South Africa is now his latest scapegoat. He did it recently to Iran, Turkey and others, with dire consequences.

The appeal is for all those who live in unbridled luxury and splendour and those who have benefited so handsomely here in beautiful South Africa to please stand up and publicly refute/denounce Donald Trump’s false claims before things get out of hand.
