There will be more than 100 teams playing in the tournaments this year, and for the first time Sasfin Cape Town Sixes is introducing two new women’s leagues (one cricket and one football) as the future of female cricket and football continues to grow.

To celebrate the news, the Sixes will be giving all women wanting to attend the festival a complimentary ticket. Email info@capetownsixes.com to get your free ticket.

Whether you are a football enthusiast, a cricket fan or even just a foodie, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Founder Sean Young explained: “This year boasts a range of activities not only for our cricket and football fans, but also for the whole family.

“We have an array of activities for kids, a global food village and a great ensemble of local music talent such as The Kiffness, making it the perfect fun-filled day out for all.”

The event is supported by cricket legends Allan Donald, Brett Schultz, Meyrick Pringle and comedian Dalin Olivier, who dedicate their personal hours to teaching in the #HitPoverty ForASix cricket coaching clinics which focus on training, upskilling and brightening the lives of hundreds of disadvantaged children across the Cape.
