Global warming, overpopulation are bigger threats than Covid-19
DESPITE the fear and panic generated by the coronavirus and the comfort of having vaccines, a lot of people are still wondering how it was possible to have vaccines for this particular pandemic so quickly. Why was such a solution not easily found for HIV/Aids, malaria and Ebola?
The answer surely lies in the fact that the coronavirus rapidly threatened all races, both the rich and poor, the educated and uneducated, and all nations without an exception. As a result, enough resources by the powers that be on Earth were finally mobilised to save, at the minimum, those that matter most. This can only mean there are solutions for most of our problems as humans, but it depends on who makes a noise and where they are.
However, the coronavirus and the vaccines formulated to combat it are just the beginning of our problems.
The real danger for humanity lies with global warming and overpopulation. Moreover, the extinction of many species and the destruction of the ozone layer poses a greater danger to humans than a controllable pandemic.
Uncontrollable retaliations of the Earth will surely humble humans and remind them of God.
As more people multiply, alongside increasing poverty and a lack of resources, the tune of vaccination will be abandoned.
The same governments and scientists who are heroes today of survival and fake preachers will preach suicide and castration.
Preachers should stick to the real good news of Christ dying for our sins and leave Earthly wisdom alone because it will not last forever. KHOTSO KD MOLEKO | Mangaung Bloemfontein
