People of faith all need to speak out
AUTHENTIC spirituality is the result of seeking guidance by following the path of Prophet Abraham.
Following dogma or leadership without thinking rarely leads to authentic spirituality. For example, the European Crusaders’ emphasis on wealth and lack of spirituality allowed them to slaughter innocent Jews and Muslims in Jerusalem and rape and pillage several European cities without a conscience.
If faith and spirituality was the agenda, Arabs would not have killed each other in Iraq/Iran, Yemen, Syria, Libya, Sudan, etc. unless it was inspired by power and wealth or because they are really stupid.
The barbaric treatment of Palestinians by Zionists and Zionist claims of overall superiority suggests that other people must be inferior to Zionists. This indicates a clear lack of spirituality and humility.
People of authentic spirituality represent truth and justice. They fear the Creator’s punishment may fall on themselves, the community and society as a collective because of the shift towards wickedness.
What am I talking about? Globally and locally we witness increasing injustice and corruption in our politics, business and religious fraternity. Few speak out for fear of attack or losing favour while some speak against others but not their own village, ethnic, tribal, religious or business and political association.
For example, CNN and BBC attack the Taliban on the education of women in Afghanistan but do not talk about the millions of women forced into prostitution in America and Europe, etc. BBC and CNN rarely talk about the millions in the West that were tricked into addiction by the pharmaceutical industry.
For the world to improve, authentic Jews, Christians and Muslims must represent truth and justice as defined by the Torah, Bible and Qur’an and not follow dogma or cultural conditioning that lacks value.
We need authentic Christians to say that colonial and imperial exploitation and what Britain and America and its allies continue doing in Libya, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Sudan and Afghanistan is evil and not Christian. Jesus Christ did not condone or encourage mass murder.
We need authentic Jews to say the treatment of Palestinians by Zionists is evil and not Judaic. We need authentic Muslims to say that when Arabs kill others and each other, it is evil and un-Islamic.
When you believe it is okay to kill or harm others because they differ from you racially, in religion or in culture, etc. you lack authentic spirituality and genuine faith.
