A VIDEO of a nude woman posted yesterday on the Facebook page timeline of newly elected Cosatu provincial chairperson Motlatsi Tsubane has resulted in him deleting his page.

Tsubane said this was the second such incident in two months, and he believed the video was posted to tarnish his name.

The video has sparked debate on Facebook, with some calling for its removal.

Tsubane said he became “sad and very angry” when he found out about the post.

“This is tarnishing my image,” he said.

“As a married person with children that are active on social media, and you come across such images, this is ruining my life. What is best for me is to delete my Facebook account,” said Tsubane.

Upon discovering the image on his wall, Tsubane wrote on his Facebook page: “Comrades and friends, I once more want to bring it to your attention that I have noticed again on my account that there is a nude video, it is like I have tagged you but it is not so.

“I hope that it is not a reactionary lunatic who is trying to tarnish my image comrades.”

Nobubele Vuyisile wrote on the post: “Don’t tag me in this, please remove me”.
