In a tell-all, true confession episode in the Cape Times on Friday, South Africa’s favourite tannie will tell readers of the hardest decision she has ever had to make.
In a voice quivering with emotion, she said: “I remember sitting outside that building in a turmoil of indecision.
“My past flooded my memory, and I heard shouts of swart gevaar, kommuniste, terroriste, die einde van die Afrikaner – all in the italics of yesteryear.
“But then again, being a Libra, the other side welled up in my emotion…”
