WHITE maize for delivery in December was down 2.8 percent to R3 630 a ton on the SA Futures Exchange yesterday, snapping three days of gains.

Futures dropped the most since October 13.

Yellow maize declined 0.5 percent to R3 170 a ton, falling for a third day to the lowest since October 10.

Soya beans for May decreased 0.8 percent to R6 030 a ton, falling to the lowest since September 28.

Sunflower seeds for December gained 0.3 percent to R6 535 a ton.

Wheat dropped 0.1 percent to R4 115 a ton. – Bloomberg
