Paleo diet easier to follow than most
Paleo diets are made up of nutrient- rich organic foods and omit fatty processed foods
AUTHOR Sébastien Noël’s experiences of ill health led him to explore the paleo diet.
The Paleolithic diet is based mainly on foods presumed to have been available to our ancestors – Paleolithic humans – and typically includes vegetables, fruit, nuts, roots, meat and organ meats, while excluding foods such as dairy products, grains, sugar, legumes, processed oils, salt, and alcohol or coffee.
The diet is based on avoiding not just modern processed foods, but the foods humans began eating after the Neolithic Revolution, when we transitioned from hunter-gatherer lifestyles to settled agriculture.
The paleo diet is winning recognition as an effective way to lose weight and stay in shape.
It also has the added benefit of helping individuals with autoimmune disorders like multiple sclerosis live fuller, healthier lives.
Paleo diets are made up of nutrient-rich organic foods and omit fatty processed foods.
If you’re on a paleo diet, you can eat healthy organic meats and fish, non-starchy vegetables, natural oils and fats, nuts and fruits.
The Paleo Recipe Book is one of the most accessible, with easy-to-use collections of paleo recipes.
Here are five reasons why it’s a useful buy for anyone who wants to live a healthier life:
1 Recipes are delicious and healthy
The paleo diet emphasises using fresh, organic ingredients that you can buy at most grocery stores.
Generally the recipes are just healthier takes on favourites you already indulge in, making the transition to a paleo lifestyle easier for beginners.
2 The book is well organised and appealing The pages of this book are on a simple white background, with clear green text. Recipe names are in big, bold lettering, and the recipe steps are listed in clear type with simple numbering. There are 372 recipes, organised under 18 categories, all with large photographs of the finished dish. There are icons listing the nutritional values for the dish, including the amount of protein, carbohydrates and fat. The icons also list the cooking and preparation time, as well as the number of servings.
3 The recipes are easy to make
Because paleo diets are based on earlier times, the recipes tend to be easier to prepare and cook, saving time and giving you more time to actually enjoy the food.
It delivers healthy and simple recipes you can whip up in minutes, but which taste as good as anything that could take hours to prepare.
Because the recipes are so simple, presentation becomes much easier.

Who is the book designed for?

It provides a way to reduce sugar and help a range of issues including high blood pressure, diabetes and other diet-related illnesses.
Sébastien Noël is the same person behind PaleoLeap.com.
The recipe book was inspired by what he experienced as a child.
With years of pain behind him, the research seemed to lead him in many different directions and Noël tried one diet plan after another before finding the paleo diet.
He scrutinised his diet, which included way too much sugar, wheat, dairy and soya.
Having experienced debilitating migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, leaky gut, allergies and a weakened immune system, Noël set about finding a natural way to feel better.
He believed that the root causes of health issues were to be found in the lifestyle and diet of a person. Using that belief he developed his Paleo Recipe Book.
It was a culmination of years of research and learning, which he was keen to share with others interested in learning about optimal health.
After years of trial and error experimenting, Noël put everything he learnt into this book.
