your friends and family in this difficult time. – Sandile Mchunu, Independent Media business reporter

NTATE Wiseman Khuzwayo’s death is a reminder to me that we best do what we really want to do as we go through life. In the few times I was privileged to talk to him, I found him to be genuinely a good man who believed, worked and excelled in a difficult and troubled world. He remains a credit to this noble profession and a lodestar to some of us. I shall remember him for what he achieved in his lifetime. I have truly benefited immensely from the quality and integrity of his work. Goodbye Wiseman and thank you. Condolences to the Khuzwayo family, his friends and BR team for losing their foremost intellect. – Kabelo Khumalo, Independent Media business reporter

I AM deeply saddened by news of the passing of Wiseman Khuzwayo, who was one of the most dedicated journalists I ever worked with. He was also one of the most considerate and caring human beings I have known. I first met Wiseman in London in 1984 when he was in exile in the UK and wrote for the Rand Daily Mail and newspapers in the then SAAN group.. His commitment to journalism saw him through some challenging times in his personal life. I will always remember him with great fondness. – John Battersby: Ambassador for global peace at The Tutu Foundation, UK.

A VERY humble man, full of wisdom, a great sense of humour, and knowledgeable in the craft of writing a good analysis. South African journalism is poorer without Wiseman Khuzwayo. Rest in peace. – Kenneth Chikanga: Independent Media Solutions
