Deep Fried Man set to headline at GrandWest

AWARD-winning comedian Deep Fried Man will unleash his musical hilarity at the next edition of the Hanover Street Comedy Sundowners at GrandWest on July 2.

His material is witty, relevant and combined with hilarious songs which he customises to suit the audience. Armed with his guitar and humour, Deep Fried Man has had audiences across the country in fits of laughter since he burst onto the scene in 2010.

He has performed in various comedy shows including the Heavyweigh­t Comedy Jam. His debut one-man show, Deeply Fried, won a Standard Bank Ovation award at the 2011 National Arts Festival in Grahamstow­n.

Also set to perform at GrandWest on July 2 are Yaaseen Barnes, Ambrose Uren and Carl Weber.

The doors will open at 5pm and the show is set to start at 6pm. The cost is R60 per person, and is strictly for over 18s. Call 082 588 6662 for bookings.
