Eid message from Gatesville Mosque

The message of Eid has to be one of spreading the ethos of love and tolerance not only within the house of Islam but to everyone that one engages with.

Islam’s message of peace, love and respect for fellow human beings has been hijacked by extremists whose only agenda is hate and mass violence.

Muslims must condemn this in the strongest terms as well as all other forms of terrorism – especially in countries like Palestine, Syria and Yemen.

In a world that seems to have gone crazy, it’s important that Muslims must embrace their fellow human beings with love, respect and honour.

Every human being deserves that. As a Muslim, you are either the best or the worst ambassador for your faith.

In line with its policy of “Charity with Dignity towards Parity”, the mosque had a special “adopt an orphan” for the day of Eid.

These highly personalised Eid boxes were handed over to 112 orphans to make their day as special, cheerful, and joyous as possible.

We Pray that The accepts our intentions.

The Imaams and committee of Gatesville Mosque wish every Muslim Eid Mubarak.

May the Grace, blessings and bounties of the Almighty Creator be showered upon all. Almighty
