Bolt to be at Sun Met
AFRICA’S richest race day, The Sun Met celebrated with G.H.Mumm, will take place at Kenilworth racecourse on January 27, with a stellar line-up of entertainment.
Over and above rubbing shoulders with the who’s who of the horse racing, fashion and entertainment industries – all styled ahead of the field in their best Afro-chic attire – this social highlight also brings racedaygoers a dazzling entertainment line-up featuring some of South Africa’s finest radio and club DJs, as well as the award-winning band Mi Casa.
The official after-party will bring live performances by DJ Kent, DJ Zinhle, Euphonik and Mi Casa in the official Sun Met celebrated with G.H.Mumm after party marquee. All ticket holders will be able to join the official after party as general access tickets automatically grant access into the marquee.
Other entertainment on offer in the afterpartymarqueewillincludea fashion show showcasing local and international fashion, as well as the traditional Best Dressed competition.
The public arena will host a variety of premium culinary experiences, bar facilities and entertainment, also offering horse-racing enthusiasts the opportunity to see South Africa’s finest thoroughbreds compete in 13 nail-biting races, and a stake of R5 million in the main race.
Once again, this calendar highlight guarantees the finest in Africa’s rich horse-racing heritage, style, fashion, and entertainment at the height of the city’s summer season.
The Sun Met celebrated with G.H. Mumm will once again draw the country’s most high-profile personalities to Kenilworth racecourse to experience the thrill and splendour of Africa’s richest raceday.
Entertainment highlights include Jamaican runner and Olympic legend Usain Bolt, one of the world’s most exciting and decorated athletes, who will be joining in the festivities.
