Saddle up for anniversary ride

THE sixth annual Origin Of Trails two-day mountain bike (MTB) experience will take place in Stellenbosch on November 24-25.

“We are excited to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the Origin Of Trails MTB Experience,” said Michael Meyer, Stillwater Sports managing director.

“Celebrating the origin of South African mountain biking, the 2018 route will boast a vast network of world-class trails and spectacular on-route offerings that go against the norm.

‘‘Stellenbosch is the perfect setting in which to host such a celebration.

‘‘This year, riders can look forward to a number of new innovations. We’re excited to include a fun ride, a trail run, rider jerseys for the long and medium distances and a few others. An exceptional route for riders of various skill levels and entertainment throughout.

‘‘Every rider will also be given breakfast and lunch on both days and a free coffee for each morning, straight from the Rialto coffee shop.

‘‘Mountain biking enthusiast of all fitness levels are invited to experience mountain biking at its best.”
