PROSPECTIVE Maties students have only until June 30 to get their applications in to study at Stellenbosch University (SU). That is also the deadline for applying for accommodation in SU’s residences.

SU is often rated as one of the top three universities in South Africa, according to various international university rankings. The university also has one of the highest first-year throughput rates in South Africa.

Dr Celeste Nel, director: centre for admission and residence placement says: “We are excited about the number and quality of applications for 2019, proving SU is a first-choice university. We are, however, still concerned about the more than 8 000 applications that are incomplete and as a result cannot be considered.

Prospective students are asked to get their applications in soon to give themselves space and time to complete the application, that includes uploading the necessary documents, and to make changes if necessary.”
