Help needed to find missing teen

POLICE have appealed to the public for help in finding 16-yearold Deoline Maronell Demas of Wellington.

Deoline was reported missing by her mother on June 10 at Wellington police station.

Police said according to informatio­n, she went missing from her home, and was last seen in Egoli, Wellington, on June 5.

“The descriptio­n of her clothes is unknown.

‘‘She had short brown hair with a tattoo on her left ankle ‘Deo 22/02/2002’, her name and date of birth,” said police spokespers­on Noloyiso Rwexana.

Anyone with informatio­n of her whereabout­s can contact investigat­ing officer Lattie van Rooyen on 021 864 9600, or their nearest police station.

Meanwhile, in Nyanga, efforts to address contact crimes resulted in the arrest of four suspects for rape and house robbery.

One suspect, who police said was a relative of the complainan­t, was arrested on Monday after he allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl in Nyanga.

In a separate incident, a 32-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly raping his girlfriend in the Samora Machel township.

Both suspects are set to appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court today on charges of rape, said Rwexana.
