Cash-in-transit criminals must dye

- Barbie Sandler Claremont

SOMETHING has to be done about the high number of cash-in-transit heists in every city.

I remember reading about a purple dye spilling over the money and the robber if the van was opened without a code being used. The robbers would be noticed immediately when they tried to get away and the stained money couldn’t be used.

I am not sure if this was overseas, but perhaps it’s worth looking into?

Of course, one has to say many of the heists are probably inside jobs as they seem to know exactly where the vans are going and the code could be given as well. But maybe worth a try?
