Report violent pupils

- M Nqoro Goodwood

WITH regards to attacks on teachers by pupils.

The Criminal Procedure Act is the weapon that teachers can adopt under the prevailing circumstances.

The affected teachers must lay criminal charges at the police stations and ensure the pupils who assault them are prosecuted in a court of law.

The offenders will feel the bite when they have criminal records when they leave school.

If the pupil and the parent have any leg to stand on, they may go to court and argue mitigating circumstances regarding the pupil’s conviction in court.
