Hamba kahle, Gift

- Hamba kahle, Cde Gift Nhikitiki. Comradely yours, Kenneth Mokgatlhe PAC Spokesperson

THE PAN Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of a Zimbabwean African National Union-Patriotic Front (Zanu-PF) cadre who spent most of his revolutionary moments in occupied Azania (South Africa). This is the saddest chapter in the struggle towards the economic emancipation of our continent. It’s such a colossal loss to mother Africa.

We are sending our heartfelt condolences to the beloved family of M’Afrika Gift. We are paying revolutionary homage to his vanguard movement, which is the PAC, as well as the entire Zimbabwean nation. We are mourning this gross loss. This is the saddest time for both the PAC as well as our friends, Zanu-PF.

We personally have established relations with M’Afrika Gift because the PAC is the home of Pan-Africanism and that’s where all those who identify with the philosophy belong. We are always eager to work with anyone who has the utmost interests of Africa and her people at heart. We salute Cde Gift, Hamba kahle, M’Afrika.

We have paid a deserving homage/ tribute as the party, and we will continue to do the same until he is given a befitting funeral. We are also happy to have seen an official communiqué which declared a special funeral for our dear comrade. We are happy to see a vanguard Zanu-PF honouring its fallen hero. It is special because it will be the first time for a comrade to receive such an honour since the departure of President Mugabe as the first citizen of Harare.

The PAC is deeply hurt because Cde Gift was a bridge between the PAC and Zanu-PF. He was able to place us close to the government of Zimbabwe, and that was an honour on our side. The PAC was able to send its delegation to the inauguration of His Excellency ED Mnangagwa as a result of the work done by Cde Gift, and for that we take our hats off.
