- Staff Writer

JACARANDA FM has revealed that award-winning TV and radio personality and “mom-preneur” Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp will soon be joining the line-up.

From August 1, AfrikaBredenkamp will be presenting the WorkZone, weekdays from 9am to 12pm, taking over from Mack Rapapali who moves to night-time.

Elana is one of the best-known and loved personalities on the entertainment scene.

She will continue to work on current and new TV shows, as well as deliver parenting inspiration on Elana Afrika’s Baby Brunch, featured on Jacaranda FM’s podcast hub, JacPod.

Her primary focus, however, will be ensuring that WorkZone continues to deliver the “no-repeat” promise with all of Jacaranda FM’s favourite artists in the mix, stellar content and continuous updates on news and traffic.

“Bringing a presenter of Elana’s calibre and charisma on board adds gravitas to our daytime line-up.

“She’s already a hit with her roles in TV and radio, and our audience are going to love her,” said Jacaranda FM GM Kevin Fine.

“Coming back to Jacaranda FM feels like home,” said AfrikaBredenkamp. I’ve always wanted to use my talent for good – the amazing team at this radio station understands positive change and the impact of giving back, and I’m excited to be part of that!”

In other line-up changes, Mack Rapapali moves to 10pm – 1am, Monday to Thursday nights. EXECUTIVE Producers of the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100, include Dr Precious MoloiMotsepe, Patrice Motsepe, Kweku Mandela, Dave Holmes, Declan Kelly, Liza Henshaw and Hugh Evans.
