LOCAL non-profit organisation BazArt has invited 20 South African and international artists to be part of a major artistic facelift in Salt River.

The artists, comprising nine from South Africa and 11 from Europe and North and South America, will paint murals on the theme of “We Need Nature”.

Foreign muralists will comprise Belgians ROA; Spear and Linus Haertjens; Salla Ikonen from Finland; Damien Gillot of France; Mariana Palomina of Spain; Sweden’s Julia Rio; Argentina’s Lucas Aoki; Canada’s Ruben Carrasco; and Christina Navarette from Mexico.
