WOORDFEES IN STELLENBOSCH
HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK
This weekend marks the beginning of Woordfees, the literary and art festival hosted by the University of Stellenbosch. The festival is a celebration of South African written, visual and performing arts – which converts the entire town into improvised art theatres, galleries and concert venues.
Concerts this week include performances by Ibrahim Khalil Shihab, Babalwa Meintjies, George Werner and the Little Giants, the Steve Newman Trio, Kalahari Connection, Kyle Shepherd and more. Tickets can be booked via Computicket. For more info visit: : www.woordfees. co.za.
