More options for kids on TV

DStv has launched a new edutainmen­t channel called PBD kids, writes Nathan Adams

ENTERTAINM­ENT for the kids can be a nightmare, especially when you want to control what they watch, and they have other ideas.

We all know that not everything on the small screen is stimulatin­g for their little minds, and even though it might be a cartoon, that doesn’t guarantee it’s the best thing they should be watching.

Thank goodness for the parental control features on Smart TVs and decoders – it’s always a great back-up.

This week the team at DStv announced there was a new edutainmen­t channel for kids (Channel 313). It’s called PBD Kids and is an American import and will be available across sub-Saharan Africa.
