MOREIRA CHONGUICA AT NORVAL FOUNDATION
Multi-award-winning Mozambican saxophonist, ethnomusicologist, producer and composer Moreira Chonguica is in town for a rare performance and master class this weekend. Chonguica spent many years collaborating with South African musicians, and recently performed at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival alongside Manu Dibango. He will present a master class in conjunction with Music Exchange at the Radisson Red Hotel at the V&A Waterfront tomorrow from 10.30am. On Sunday, he performs at the Norval Foundation (4 Steenberg Road) in Tokai at 8.30pm. Tickets range from R150 to R220.
