THE Toyota Aygo city car gets the canvas-roof treatment with this new X-cite model. Aimed squarely at millenials, the X-cite has its sibling’s 51 kw/95 N.m 1,0-litre petrol engine with power transmitted via a five-speed manual. Toyota claims a sub-15-second 0-100 km/h sprint time and bullish fuel consumption of 4,4 L/100 km for the combined cycle.

Standard features include vehicle-stability control, LED daytime-running lights, 15-inch wheels and six airbags. The X-cite comes with a three-year/100 000 km warranty.
