Thank you for compiling CAR each month – it has been an absolute game-changer for me and my boys – they can’t get enough of it!
Liam (nine) and Oliver (six) are both car-crazy; from an early age, they’ve both been “over the top” when it comes to cars. We started buying your magazine this February when I needed to find gifts to fill a gift parcel and, honestly, we’ve never looked back. They have devoured three issues so far and they can’t wait for the next month’s magazine.
Everywhere we go, there’s running commentary from the back seat (CAR issue in hand) by Liam (and Oliver if he gets a chance, or vice versa). “That’s the new ...; it costs ...; oh, and this is how many revs it can do per minute!”
Truth is, they’ve always loved cars but your magazine has enabled them to know so much more and has become a monthly tradition in our home.
Last week we met a car salesman and I happened to mention in passing that my boys (particularly Liam, as he’s older and an avid reader) seem to know a lot about cars. The salesman started asking questions and Liam knew all the answers and more. Oliver even commented on a particular car that left the salesman gobsmacked! They both celebrate their birthdays in May and we thought of giving them each a CAR subscription for their birthdays. We also really hoped this letter would make it into the May issue as we think it would be so special for them. I’ve attached some photos of our boys and their car collection, which is constantly expanding. Of course, they dream of the day they can own and drive many of the extravagant and incredible cars they are learning so much about.
