Cops bust Komga drug den
MDANTSANE police discovered a dagga plantation inside a Komga home during a latenight raid on Tuesday.
Police spokesman Lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku said the raid resulted in the arrest of a 32year-old homeowner.
“We have long suspected that the suspect was selling drugs from his home,” Mzuku said. “Police have confiscated 1 350 plants of dagga, 1 000 dagga cultivating equipment and machinery, all valued at R200 000.”
He said the suspect was due to appear in the Komga Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of dealing in dagga and cultivation of dagga.
Komga police station commander Captain Zamikhaya Kana praised his members for a job well done.
