Coach happy with Chippa win, but wants more goals

- By VUYOKAZI NKANJENI

CHIPPA United coach Dan “Dance” Malesela says he is happy his troops were able to find the back of the net four times during their 4-1 win against Baroka in their PSL fixture at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday night. Goals from Marc van Heerden, David Zulu, Mbulelo Wambi and Thembinkosi Lorch saw Chippa keep their unbeaten run in the league.

Chippa have recorded two wins and one draw in their three league fixtures they have played so far. Ahead of the match, Malesela said his biggest headache was his strike-force.

He said scoring was not an issue but the problem lay more in the decision-making in front of goal.

But the Chilli Boys seem to have made all the right decisions on Wednesday night against newlypromoted Baroka.

“We still have a lot to do and we can still score more goals if we put our head right,” said the coach, who was however unhappy with the fact that their opponents sneaked in one goal.
