Trevor’s Shaka dream on cards

SO‚ YOU’RE a fan of Game of Thrones ? Well‚ then Trevor Noah thinks you would love a film about Shaka Zulu.

Trevor sat down with the New York Times recently to discuss all things books and was asked which book he would most like to see being made into a film.

Trevor responded by suggesting a film about a true South African hero: Shaka Zulu.

“Someone needs to make a movie about Shaka‚ the legendary Zulu king who warred across South Africa forging the modern Zulu nation.

“It’s better than Game of Thrones and it’s all true‚” Trevor said.

And it seems like Trevor might not have to wait all that long to see his dream film.

According to a City Press report earlier this year‚ a South African produced film about the Zulu king’s life is in production‚ with Isibaya actor Andile Gumbi set to star as Shaka. — TshisaLIVE
