‘Wingin’ It’ jets off to new slot

-

M-NET’S entertaining travel show Wingin’ It, starring real-life best friends Siv Ngesi and Janez Vermeiren, is moving to a new 5pm timeslot from this coming Sunday.

The show, which used to be broadcast at 4pm on Sundays is shifting as part of a new local schedule block for Sunday evenings.

“Siv and Janez’s competitive and hilarious chemistry makes for very entertaining television,” says M-Net’s head of publicity, Lani Lombard.

“M-Net is now in the process of establishing an earlier, local prime-time block for Sunday nights, so that viewers can enjoy back-toback homegrown entertainment.”

Wingin’ It’s new home at 5pm will lead straight into The Voice SA, followed by M-Net’s flagship investigative journalism programme Carte Blanche.

The 5pm slot on Sunday nights on the channel will also be filled with local content going forward once this season of Wingin’ It has concluded, so watch out for exciting new original content later this year.

Wingin’ It entertaining is an travel show in which friends Ngesi and Vermeiren travel to remote and diverse countries around the world. They have 48 hours in each city to absorb as much of the culture and richness that it has to offer, but with absolutely no itinerary, things end up getting rather messy – and hilarious. This week on Wingin’ It, the dashing duo gear up for adventure and prepare for the fast-paced chaos of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The episode will see the pair try their hand at karaoke and, spoiler alert: they’re not very good.
