Zambia-born star warns SA to step up their game
BAFANA Bafana should revisit their past encounters with Zambia and approach today’s game with the same strategy the Chipolopolo side has been playing every time the two sides meet.
Those were the sentiments shared by Zambian-born Mthatha Bucks player Kangwa Chileshe, who has played under the wing of coach Wedson Nyirenda and also with some of the players in the Chipolopolo side facing Bafana Bafana today in the 2018 Chan qualifiers .
Chileshe said Bafana should ask themselves why is it that every time they play Chipolopolo they fail to get positive results even though they have quality players.
“Coach Wedson Nyirenda is the type of coach who demands a hundred percent from each and every player in his team and he’s most definitely prepared his side for tod game.
“He’s the guy that will push everyone to the limit even if it’s just training or a game and I’m sure the squad he selected is a quality team.
“I know coach Wedson, he was my coach at Vasco United, so I know what he expects from players and I’m sure his squad is totally ready for the match.”
Chileshe said the Zambian striker, Brian Mwila, who’s recently been signed by Platinum Stars, was one of the key players Bafana should watch for but also mentioned other quality players Zambia has in store.
“If you look behind the defence there’s Adrian Chama from Green Buffaloes, who is a strong player. In the midfield we have Jack Chirwa, who is very patient and lethal, so those are the key players who I can
