who was called in to the national U20 team trained intensivel­y with the European outfit's U19 side and would be going back to that country in November after the club had agreed to let him honour his academic commitment­s here at home.

The young marvel said he would love to play in Europe and skip the Premier Soccer League if possible.

“I started playing football at the age of six when I was in a LFA team, then at the age of 13 I started playing in SAB League for Exel United.

“Then at the age of 16 I signed with AC Milan playing in the ABC Motsepe and I played there for a year and then when I was 17 went to academies.”

He said he joined CSYDA last year in December after the academy’s scouts loved his style of play and his work ethic.

“I heard CSYDA were putting together a squad that was going play against Bidvest Wits developmen­t I went to the tournament and luckily for me they picked me.

“Carlos and Sibusiso Zuma told me I had potential they wanted me to go overseas and train more.”

He said training with the U19s at Copenhagen was an experience he would remember for the rest of life and that it’s an opportunit­y that years

Icouldn't have came at a better time.

“When Carlos told me I had to go there I knew I would have to work twice as hard and impress because they [Zuma and Mtshamba] put their necks on the chopping block for me.

“The football that side is different to the one we play here in SA, you know how overseas coaches are, they tell you ‘boy play your football as long as you go forward we don't have a problem’.

“They were happy with what they saw in me and they called me back to their camp.

“I wanna play overseas and make a name for myself and academy and I willing to please their wishes by working hard.”

Bafana Bafana and FC Copenhagen legend, Sibusiso Zuma said after his first glance of Nkosi during a tournament he held with CSYDA that the young boy deserved to play profession­al football.

“He is a very good player and he has proven himself time and time again.

“There’s a lot of youngsters like him. He's the type of player we wanna take overseas because of his height and strength and agility and that's what they need in Europe.”

Zuma said Ngxabi did very well in Denmark and FC Copenhagen wanted to keep him.
