- By PELOKAZI MHLABA

IDOLS SA season 12 stars are blowing in to Breidbach this weekend for a singing extravaganza.

The stars will start their two-hour show at the Breidbach Civic centre in King William’s Town tomorrow at 7pm.

Bevan Samuels, the main act, will be coming from Port Elizabeth with Keegan Martin. Collaborating with them for one night only will be Terra Cox, who is flying in from Cape Town.

Samuels was one of the youngest contestants on Idols.

Samuels said: “I will be performing some of my favourite hits, including my show-stopper performance from my Idols journey. I will also deliver a magical performance on my new single Change the World.”

Cox has done a good number of shows since Idols and even dropped a single this year, Raise the Dead.

Elshender Swartz, from Tripple E Entertainment, will be the host and fashion designer Carlos Fritz will be the MC.

There will be an over-30s disco afterwards.

Martin is working on a single to be released later this year.

“I will be performing a specific song called Impossible Dream by Luther Vandross. It is requested wherever I go and it also became my highlight performance on Idols SA, season 12,” said a clearly excited Keegan.

Tickets are R80 and R100 at the door and R140 for VIPs.

They are available from the Sound Factory on 082-761-2706 or directly from Swartz on 081-735-8776. — DDC
