Resist AmaGupta line

-

THE recent nonsense about the suspension of our ANC secretary-general and dissolution of the Northern Cape and Eastern Cape provincial executive committees are shameful wishes which will never see the light of day.

As we march to to our national conference it is crystal clear the Dicks, Toms and Harrys of this world are desperate for political influence and are making nasty moves to cause the run-up to be thorny and difficult.

We, as rank and file members, shall not be deterred by those hell-bent on distorting truth and casting dubious speculations so as to create chaos.

What is disturbing is the volumes of lies told to bring down the revolutionary morale of the masses in the Eastern Cape about the NEC chasing away our provincial chair Oscar Mabuyane and provincial secretary Lulama Ngcukayitobi from the meeting held in Irene, near Pretoria.

Others dream of having our PEC dissolved in order to navigate and captain political decisions and influence delegates towards a leadership perspective sympathetic to AmaGupta and co.

The truth has come out – the leaders we elected at the ICC remain our provincial executive and the leadership has established a committee to listen to concerns of others. At branch level we must close ranks and strengthen our province against people who have no interest in the Eastern Cape regaining its historic position in the body politic of SA.

We must, in the days before our conference, refuse to be micro-managed by those at ease with state capture and must refuse to allow our country to be monopolised by any egocentric individuals. — Zibele Xuba, Queenstown
