Bucks tuned up for next round

Kama says team on mission to win

one mission as the team, which is to win our games. And in this second round there will be changes that our fans have been calling for.

“The coach is a hard worker himself, so it’s not possible not to get inspired by [him], and he doesn’t look at the players according to their names or where they’ve played in the past.

“He sees everyone in the same manner and he only gives chances to players who work hard, whether you are BK or Mpho Erasmus.”

Kama added: “In order for you to get game time you have to put in that extra work on the ground – then he will notice you.”

This season, after having lost eight games, drawn four and won three, Bucks have dropped to 15th position on the log, with 13 points to their name.

“Coach always motivates us and tells us that we don’t deserve to be in this position we are in, and he’s trying to help us do better.

“He’s really instilled a sense of partnership in the team, and the difference is there for you to see.”

Kama made a passionate plea to their die-hard fans, asking them to continue supporting the team as they try to rise in the standings.

“We plead with them not to panic; we know how much they love this team and we are doing everything in our power to bring the ship into stable waters.

“Even at the grounds [Mthatha Stadium], they should stop dwelling on the negatives and focus on the good things. They should focus on singing at the grounds so that everyone can have a great time, and we promise them good football going forward, including the desired results.”
