Four teams then emerged from that, with Zondeki up against MbekaMkhupa and Vukani taking on Good Hope.

“Without a shadow of a doubt I am looking forward to the final,” admitted Mandita.

“It is going to be very exciting and great to watch and the fans who will turn out on the day are in for a treat.

“It is going to be a fantastic finish to the tournament and you don't want to miss it.

“We have had the cream of the crop on show here at this year’s Amacale'gusha tournament.

“These players have played extremely well over the tournament and I believe a number of them can go on to bigger and better things.”

With today's final then closing out the 2018 edition of the Amacal'egusha tournament, organisers will be casting their eye onto the next event and will be deciding what they need to do over the coming year in order to improve on the popular annual cricketing extravaganza.

“I have been very happy with the way this year’s edition has gone,” admitted Mandita.

“Myself and my colleagues have been working very hard and with such a diverse team we have been able to draw experience from all different aspects of cricket which has helped us put on the best possible tournament.

“This edition has been great as always, but I have many plans to improve this tournament. We have so many plans that we would like to put in place over the year. This tournament is part of our heritage and culture and means so much to so many people in this region.”

Today's final starts at 9am this morning with the two teams competing in a 50-over a side final.
