Selborne all set to face rivals Dale

- By ROSS ROCHE

A CRACKING weekend of school rugby action is on the cards today.

The highlight should be the all College clash between hosts Selborne and Dale in East London.

Selborne have been going from strength to strength this season following a difficult start in the Easter Tournaments and head into the Dale match on a four game winning run.

As well as racking up some big score lines, Selborne's defence has been on point in the last four games as well as they have conceding just six points.

Dale have had a bit of a mixed bag this year, losing five and winning four games and they will need to be at their best.

They head into the match off the back of a morale boosting 32-5 win over Daniel Pienaar at the Grey High School Festival and will hope to take that momentum into the Selborne encounter.

Hudson Park High make the trip to Grahamstown to take on Kingswood College.

Hudson has enjoyed six wins against four losses so far and despite heading into the match off a loss this past Monday, will be confident coming up against a side they have beaten a number of times over the past few seasons.

Queens face arguably the toughest encounter of the weekend when they welcome Grey to Queenstown. The hosts have had a tough season so far, losing six and winning three games.
