The Buffalo City Lego User Group (Bufflug) was started in mid-2017 and aims at promoting enthusiasts’ love of all things Lego. Members meet once a month to share ideas and enjoyment of the hobby with like-minded fans. André Botha, chairman of Bufflug, gave ALAN EASON a tour of his massive collection, comprising 392 sets of Lego and 1 383 mini-figurines. The range of products is continually being updated with themes from movies such as ‘Star Wars’, ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Batman’, ‘Lord of the Rings’, TV series such as ‘The Simpsons’ and a host of Disney shows. One couldn’t help feeling like a kid again looking at the tiny cities, replica cars and rockets, not to mention the big wheel and carousel.
