Wise words build us up

BANTU Mniki’s column “Kolisi shows us how we can live in racial harmony in this divided land” (DD June 13) refers.

It is not just Nelson Mandela, winning rugby matches and Siya Kolisi that are important in nation building.

Well-written, well thought-out columns like Mniki’s are, in my opinion, even more important in growing the spirit of ubuntu as they can be read and spread and digested every day by all of us.

I hope every South African of all races reads this piece. — Rory Haschick, East London
