Investigation into triple murder

Dutywa police are investigating a triple murder after three family members from Sirhosheni village were killed in their shop on Friday evening.

Police spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha said a couple in their 40s and their eight-yearold daughter were killed by assailants with bush knives.

● Mawethu Gadesweni, 29, and his co-accused Sonwabile Kholisa 30, were sentenced to life imprisonment for murder and 15 years in jail for robbery.
