Internationally acclaimed DJ Black Coffee is set to wow house music lovers in East London with an exclusive performance later this month.

The Chivas Black Coffee tour will make its way to the Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium on November 16.

The multi award-winning DJ will be returning from his European residency tour in Ibiza and the United States, where he will be expected to make an exclusive performance on the national tour which starts in East London.

The Black Coffee tour, presented by Chivas Regal South Africa, is a series of six events that will take place across South Africa showcasing the country’s most celebrated musical artists as well as up-and-coming local talent.

David Aisley public relations manager for Chivas Regal South Africa said: “Chivas Regal is a success brand on its own. The association with such a successful South African artist such as Black Coffee was a natural fit for the brand.”

DJ Black Coffee continues to affirm his place on the international stage having headlined some of the biggest international festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, Terminal 5 in New York, The Apollo Theatre and Sonar Festival in Barcelona.

In 2017, he debuted his own radio show on Apple Beats 1, which made him the first African artist to have a radio show on Apple Music. The show titled Black Coffee on Beats 1 consists of episodes of the personal journey that Black Coffee takes listeners through. He showcased new exclusive as well as unreleased music, guest mixes from his fellow music peers and playlists of his personal favourites outside the house music genre.

General manager Lionel Marciano said: “Black Coffee is currently out of the country and will return to the motherland after touring Europe and the United States.”

Tickets to the show cost R150 for early birds, R200 on the day and VIP tickets cost R500. Tickets are available online at Computicket and at all Shoprite and Checkers stores.

Black Coffee will be sharing the stage with hip-hop artist Anatii, DJ Sumbody and Da Capo as well as local artists Blomzit Avenue, Natz EFX, Yoba Slogan, Anda and Mario.

Artist manager Dan Joffe confirmed Anatii will be performing at the concert.
