Search on after young KWT woman goes missing

King William’s Town police are looking for Sinovuyo Thomson, 25, who went missing from her Dubu location home outside the town on October 26.

According to police spokespers­on Captain Siphokazi Mawisa, Thomson was last seen by her friends visiting someone at Sweetwater­s. She never reached her destinatio­n and has not returned home since.

Mawisa said followup investigat­ions had been done by police with no success.

“It is not known what she was wearing at the time of her disappeara­nce. Any person who might have any informatio­n can contact Sergeant Lunga Mazaleni on 040-655-1925 or 079-496-5158,” Mawisa said.

● In Msobomvu, Butterwort­h police are investigat­ing a case of double culpable homicide after a car accident on the N2 in the early hours on Saturday.

Police spokespers­on Captain Jackson Manatha said the driver, 25, and his passenger, 35, died after an unidentifi­ed sedan collided with a truck near Zazulwana Village in Butterwort­h on Saturday at about 4.35am. ● A murder docket has been opened by Dutywa police after a man was fatally stabbed at about 1am on Saturday morning.

According to Manatha, it was at a traditiona­l ceremony that a group of boys fought at Mahliwane locality in Dutywa’s Gwadana Village.

It is not known what Sinovuyo was wearing when she went missing
