Trump kept his word

-

The column “SA Christians need to consider US influence” by Nomalanga Mkhize is typical of the CNN/Democratic Party propaganda that simply refuses to recognise most Americans are increasing alarmed at the rate at which their way of life is being destroyed. Although the Christian Right, which has been systematically betrayed over and over by “progressive” Democrats and a gutless Republican leadership, did give their support to Donald Trump, they weren’t the sole reason for him being voted into power. The vast majority of Republicans who voted for him are, in fact, not part of the socalled evangelical right, but ordinary citizens sick to death with the cesspool Washington had become, particularly under the influence of the Obama Administration.

The Christians were aware of Trump’s shortcomings but in supporting him weren’t looking for a pastor but a president who would be able to restore American conservative family values. He has kept his word to those who voted him into power.

• They voted for him because he is pro-life and to this end has appointed scores of pro-life justices to federal courts as well as two justices to the Supreme Court.

• They voted for him because he opposes radical LGBT activism.

• He kept his promise to move the US embassy to Jerusalem, confront the corrupt Palestinian leadership, pull out of blatantly anti-Israeli UN organisations, and scrap the disastrous Iran deal.

• He has turned the economy around, benefiting all Americans, including African-Americans whose support for him continues to grow daily.

• His virtual destruction of Isis ended the genocide of Christians and saved many lives in the Middle East.

One thing that emerged from the Brett Kavanaugh hearings was the degree to which the Democrat Party has been overrun by ugly militant feminists and the pro-abortion crowd. Mobology is the new game in town for them, backed by some unethical Democrat leaders, whose only re sponse seems to be to brand Trump a Nazi and all Republicans as either white supremacists or religious fanatics.

These are the issues that South Africans are taking note of, Nomalanga Mkhize. —
